Do you have any packages and how much do they cost?
We offer sensible and fair prices. We have a few packages to help you with the booking process. Although those can be altered to fit your schedule for the day, often at no extra cost. Head here for a list of our current packages or drop us a message with your requirements/schedule and we’ll give you a custom quote.
How do I get my photos?
Photos are delivered digitally and you’ll get a download to the high-resolution photo gallery.
Private galleries are hosted in our Client Area. You’ll get your own password protected gallery to view online or share with friends and family.
An optional USB stick is available.
What kind of style photography do you do?
We offer a bright, natural and relaxed photography style with a mix of creative, traditional portraits and fly on the wall photography to capture your big day.
What if I don’t want bridal prep photos?
Bridal and groom prep photography is option and it is common for us to skip this part. This does save some time and allows us to stay a bit later in the evening. Bridal prep usually adds about an hour to the coverage total for the day, plus any travel. We don’t charge for the travel time but it will be factored into our timeline for the day.
Can we set up a meeting with you?
Contact us to arrange a chat with our photographer. No obligation to book, we’ll just here to help you decide what is best to capture for your big day. Meetings are available via phone or face to face.
How many photos will you take?
No limit on the number of photos taken. As we specialise in documentary style it is a lot of photos and great value for money. Typically, it’s around 100 high-quality shots per hour.
Do you charge for printing rights?
Printing rights are included free of charge with all packages and you are welcome to make your own photobooks/prints.
Can we go to a different location for photos?
Yes! We’re happy to leave the venue and go get some photos at a different location. Jesmond Dene is and Newcastle Quayside are both popular options but if there’s somewhere special you have in mind we’d love to photograph you there. It doesn’t take too long we’ll shoot at the location fast and get you back to the party.
How long does it take to get my images back?
No long waiting times for images! We usually have photos returned to the customer within 4 weeks. Please note times might be slightly longer during peak periods (Summertime) but we’ll keep you up to date and send previews every step of the way. All images are guaranteed delivered within 40 days of the event or sooner.
Can I get the photos in black and white too?
Yes, you’ll get a full digital set of images in black and white too at no extra cost.
Do you do photobooks/prints?
We no longer offer traditional photo album style book due to declining demand and increasing print costs. However, we do offer print options available via our client galleries and hardback coffee table books. See here for more info
Can I see more of your work?
Yes of course 🙂 We have tons of private galleries you can view, which will give you a good idea of our coverage throughout a full day. We also have extended printed portfolio material should you wish to meet in person and view the. They always look more stunning in print 🙂
What kind of editing do you do?
Professional image processing and retouching are included as standard. We offer a very subtle retouching service where each image is optimised for print quality. No garish editing, no logos/watermarks just classy timeless images. Our editing style is bright and joyful. No dark and moody editing (this style looks great on a screen but the photos will look dark and flat on print) our bright photos pop and dazzle in print!
Do you do wedding fairs?
We do typically two or three wedding fairs per year in the Newcastle area. Keep an eye on our FB page or Blog for news on those
How long have you been a photographer?
Our main photographer; Graeme has been a professional photographer for nearly 8 years now and runs his own photo and video company (Blank Slate Creative LTD). He shot his first wedding in 2012 and is a full-time professional photographer. We do around 20 weddings per year and growing since going full time in 2019.
How many photographers will be there?
We believe that one photographer is the best way to cover a wedding, less distracting and demanding for couples on their guests on the day. We have one photographer and one videographer maximum per wedding.
What level of insurance do you have?
We are insured with a public liability value of £5 million for your reassurance. Most venues will require this from photographers.
Do you have a DBS check
Yes. We have a current and clear DBS check. Contact us to view the certificate.
Can we book a test shoot?
Yes 🙂 We offer test shoots locally in the Tyneside area. Test shoots last one hour and cost £75. The £75 fee will be refunded if you decide to go ahead and book us for your wedding 🙂
This gives you a chance to meet your photographer and also ask any questions you might have. Locations available Newcastle’s Quayside, Tynemouth, South Shields near Little Haven or Jesmond Dene.
Do you do destination weddings?
Planning something spectacular? We have photography packages available from £1000 plus travel/accom. Contact us with your requirements for a quote.
Do you require a deposit?
A deposit is required to secure your booking date. With final balance being due one week before the big day.
Can I pay in instalments?
Yes. Pay via bank transfer/standing order etc using your unique reference.
Can friends and family buy vouchers/contribute towards the cost?
Yes. Via PayPal or Bank Transfer making sure they include your unique reference code and the payment will be deducted from your balance. Ask us for payment info.

Payments by instalment welcome, friends and family can also gift/contribute using your unique reference/quote number. Payments via PayPal will be deducted from your final balance. Contact us to arrange 🙂
