The Beard Says Cheese 📸
I'm Graeme, a Newcastle wedding photographer, aka BSC (the Beard Says Cheese)! . Born and bred in Newcastle upon Tyne. I run BSC Weddings. I have a silly beard. I am a bit of a nerd. I am a crazy dog dude 🐶 I love a spicy pizza and a good whisky in my downtime. I'm obsessed with black-and-white candid/street and abstract photography. My vision is to bring that aesthetic to weddings.
For me, weddings are not just about those fleeting posed photos; they are a massive life-changing moment and deserve to be captured. I wish I could see the party photos from my parents' wedding in the 1970s. Seeing my grandparents looking amazing and wishing they were still with us. The retro outfits, my Dad's 70s sideburns, the suits! In those days, they didn't take many, usually just a formal shots after the ceremony.
Wedding photography done right is the greatest time capsule and not just a formality 💜
If you are looking for wedding photography that's a little bit different and a lot more fun then I am the photographer for you. I aim to make the wedding photography process as painless as possible. No endless posing for photos for you or your guests. Life is too short and your wedding day will be the fastest day of your life. I'm an introverted extrovert, happy to blend in with the crowd or stand up and direct hundreds of people! So, I am quiet and respectful when required and loud when the crowds need herding 😂

Top class photographer. The whole process was seamless from the booking, to the day and the delivery of the final album. Graeme is a really genuine and calming character which helps when you’re a tad camera shy! We have just received our finished album and we quickly realised he caught every single little moment.
The picture of my daughter as the doors slammed open is something out of a movie and a moment i can now visually cherish. We cannot recommend Graeme enough, he was integral to make our day special
